I thought they all had that. Guess I don't pay much attention.

As far as I understand it's only the TRD off-road trim that has the black fender protectors. Other trims are color-matched.

I thought about that since I have already done the badges, but I would want to take them off completely to do it right. They have adhesive tape, clips and bolts holding them on....not sure how much damage I would incur trying to get them removed and replaced??

Removing them isn't too difficult. It's possible to break a clip, but they are cheap to replace. Check this thread...worth a shot:

DIY BHLM with some TRS amber/white halos. They’re amber when the headlights are off and white when they’re on. And flash amber with turn signals.

Most difficult headlights I’ve ever pulled apart but super happy with the end result!

That looks super awesome with the SR5 rims! I plastidipped mine as well, along with the trim around the grill. I'll try to post a decent picture. I also want those blackout logo covers, but $99 seems a tad pricey for some makeup.

Logo covers? You talking about the tacoma inserts in the tailgate? Mine are vinyl inserts. Dont remember the price but they were high. As far as the other emvlems on the truck (4x4, V6, SR5, and Tacoma) I plastidiped those last weekend. And as far as my grille, i will be ordering a grille from dbcustomz hopefully soon. Tax rerurns should hit the bank within a week. Its also gonna buy me some new tires!

I think this looks great and I may do the same if it doesn't interfere with the rear radar sensors.

Hi, I joined just for this thread! Love my blue taco but I'm looking for some nice black fender flares. Most likely low profile with no rivets or bolts. Maybe like the OEM taco off road flares.

Any suggestions on where to get a quality set for a decent price?

    Thank you in advance.

You can always just hit em with some plasti-derp.....if you really dig it and want to keep it permanent then blast em with raptorliner and call it a day.

New shoes for Ol' Blue......and the wife's Corolla in the foreground. Definitely a Toyota family.
