I only drove mine on ice roads in the Arctic so far. There was no where to test the cruise control. It is being shipped back to Toronto and will arrive in the next week or so. I'll try it on the Trans-Canada highway and let you know but it was installed by Toyota Dealership and they said it worked. I'll believe it when I see it work.

    Thanks

My Summit order showed 90lbs but that can't be right.

Any word yet on whether the Pro skid actually needs to be trimmed to fit this?

Hell yeah. Had to do a CMC though. My 255's were rubbing after the weight of the bumper and winch settled on full turn. Would have to do it anyway If I were to switch to 285's. Other then that I love the bump!

I originally planned a 30" lighter but the space was just too small...had to go with 28"

Block heater, battery blanket, and oil pan heater all to one plug as we had this on an Arctic trip from Whitehorse to Tuktoyaktuk on the Beaufort Sea (Arctic Ocean). Sorry about not getting more pics up. The clutch died after 650 kilometers in -50 degree celsius (-58 Fahrenheit). It must've been slipping the whole time but we were only driving about 50mph on an ice highway. Anyway now they flew another clutch in and got us back on the road. Very limited internet access while up there. Now back South in Toronto, Ontario and the truck should be home tomorrow. The Warn extras worked flawlessly. I was not able to fit a 30" LED bar went with 28" Nightrider single row.

Summit order came in last week, got it installed today. I noticed Summit Racing increased the price since I ordered. The bumper is about 90 lbs. Took it out for a test drive the radar still works fine, the hoop is far enough below not to interfere. I have a half inch af sag already, will probably increase a little more in time.

Wow, price went up by $150. What was a good cheap piece suddenly seems less so. $150 isn't a ton of money but it's enough to change up my priority list I think.

Warn must have sold a ton of these and realized the could jump it now.

Yes, went with a smittybilt 9500. I’m contimplating changing from cable to rope for the weight savings, but I’ve had to winch over rocks and past small trees, I’m worried about abrasions weakening the rope. I’ll post some more pics tomorrow.12B77792-AE63-4C76-96E7-685E805668EF.jpg

After that price increase, definitely not worth it
