What are you coming up north for man, how long you staying?

Do you live on the east side as well. I would really like to go out with you and @Digiratus before summer time. Dont really care about technical. Maybe we all have a common spot that we would like to explore.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Just coming up to take care of some business and see family and friends. I haven't bought a return ticket yet, not sure when I'm flying back but I'd guess a week or week and a half.

Incase anyone else had this issue here is a simple way to get the rest of it out. Just beat a hex that’s a little bigger then the hole and unscrew it. Here are some pics

Well my 16 year old daughter wanted a Tacoma so I purchased her a 99' I have been slowly working on it and this weekend I was able to install one of the popular mods for this truck. The elusive 01' to 04' center console. I got it from a wrecked 01' for $50 and it was in dire need of work. It was originally gray but after disassembly, cleaning, prepping and repainting with the proper materials it came out great.

For anyone who has OME setup, does your rig seem more bouncy than stock suspension?

SEM plastic/vinyl interior paint using Bullydog adhesion promoter.....It has to be very clean. I wash all pieces three times with dawn dishwashing detergent scrubbing with a kitchen scotch brite pad and toothbrush for crevices. Prior to painting I wiped everything down real good with denatured alcohol.

Be mindfull the paint smell will permeate your house, mine still smells like a auto body paint booth.o_O

Yes. I outboarded my shocks, so I no longer needed the origional shock mounts that doubled as U bolt brackets. By flipping my U bolts, I was able to get rid of the original bracket that hung down a few inches, and gain some ground clearance under my axle. The wheelers bumps stops are also much better than the stock bump stops. They're a little taller than the original bump stops, but they're much softer and provide a more controlled bottom out.

Do your tires not rub your shocks when you get flexy?

They do at full stuff, but just barely. I haven't tested it out yet, but I think these bump stops will eliminate the rub because they're taller than the original bump stops.

FWIW, superbumps compress to less than half of their static height.
