Is the rubber bumper extended to far? Hmmm I think that may be a clue as to why people are developing hood shaking problems.

I think that is the clue from off roading the body's and such are just moving around and weakening areas causing misalignment issues like you have and this hood shake thing.

My lines are still good but at 70-80 my hood shakes, it's kinda scary then throw a good gust under it and wow..

Yeah for the most part it's built for AutoX and time attack racing. It really needs a motor built for it now though. It sits like maybe 2-3" off the ground.

Sounds like the old fiberglass cowl hood on my S10 even pinned in 4 corners that thing would move around all over.

Naw it's just the stock KA. But I've got close to 6g in the suspension and chassis.

Eh I beat z06s around autoX all the time power isn't everything. I had an old VW that I raced in SCCA and would do well against much higher HP cars.

    Hood latches

Did this this weekend. not too bad of a job. other than the ripped fingernail, and grinder to the digit. stripped a few bolts, will replace. still need to adjust a bit, all in all pleased.
