Good morning. Got called several times yesterday ended up working about 6 hours altogether. Didn't get supper done until 10:30 hell that is past my bedtime. Tired. Off call as of 3 minutes ago. And now it is time to start work. Again. One day closer to retirement. Make it a good one.

    Kale Day: http://nationalkaleday.org/
I do like my Kale but it has to be cooked like other greens. A streak of lean, a streak of fat and served with red wine vinegar.

The ingredients aren't as bad as some make it out to be, and the taste is awesome!

    scrapple.jpg

First ingredient is pork stock, but it is actually skimmed meat off the top of the pot that the parts are boiled in. Erhh never mind LOL. Either you love it or hate it, but easier for some people if you don't know what is in it. The hog is one of those critters that gives us lots of good things to eat. Starting with bacon! But doesn't end there.

Last girlfriend was into Kale in a big way. I like many greens but for some reason never did take to the taste of Kale. Only way I found that I could eat it was to cook it with cut up bacon in the cast iron skillet. Then eat the bacon pieces out of the Kale. She said that kind of defeats the purpose of eating Kale. :anonymous:

Guess I grew accustom to it as kid. Seemed to grow well back home because everyone in the family had at least one row planted in the garden. Wash and trim it, throw it the pot along with that ham bone that you were saving and just keep it from boiling over.

    It’s 53° at 6:30AM ... feels wonderful.

Coffeemaker, coffee grinder, and my mug were reorganized to new locations, but I found them ... having my first cup.

House is still quiet ... so at peace and happy I am. :)

Have a great day all, I certainly will.

Got an email today at work that must have been a mistake. To become train the trainer for mutual respect and inclusion. Unless they got wind that I hate everyone equally, then maybe it is not a mistake.

Might be some out there I care for less than others now that I think about it though
