Can you share the specific law? I can’t find anything that says a private landowner has to allow access to the general public. Everything I find says if you own landlocked property, then you can get an easement. Nothing about USFS roads through private land being open to public use without restriction.

I got one. Going in the rear bumper. Almost bought two. I don't think I could have carried two to the truck tho.

Whats up sluts, I'm back from the great white north. First photo is an image I've wanted to make for about three years and the second is my rental car.

asking because I really don't know. I read that the land and the timber could be owned by two different people. Is this particular piece of land owned by Hancock or do they just own the timber rights?

When it comes to miners don't they usually have mineral rights to the land? I know the signs for mining claims look scary and a miner friend of mine said don't fuck with their shit. But he will go on/close to a claim where there's a bridge and there is so many feet from either side of the bridge that is fair game.

Was that plane a Douglas DC-2 or DC-3? Is there a story behind this?

DC-3. They ran out of fuel on the way to the AFB and landed it on the beach. The sand is so dense they couldnt get it back out again so they stripped it and gave it to the farmers to store potatoes in. The farmers broke three tractors trying to get it out before they gave up and now asian tourists crawl all over it and tag it with sharpies.

I've only been there and holland but it was pretty amazing. Going to India in a week so we will see how it compares. I'm guessing it will stay in the top spot.

The land that is on either side of the road through that area is private. There's a lot of public land that is land locked in the middle of private land, just depends of if there is an easement to access the land, and who the easement allows to travel it. Just because there's an easement doesn't mean it's open for all public to use. Weyerhauser was usually very specific on their easements, and dictated who and how the easement was to be used. When land was sold, they would include stipulations on what was actually being sold and in some cases still claimed the mineral rights to the land for future use. With the cost of maintaining such easements, weyerhauser rarely let their roads be free to use by all, and if the cost was too much, they'd abandon the road all together.

I know as a fisherman I have access to any stream/river 15' past the high water line. Motorized access is not a guaranteed thing, walking is usually available.
