This has happened twice since I have had my truck. I am backing up going down my drive way. Nothing special about it just average drive way. So once in cleared the drive way I turn the wheel and hear a ping and then the traction light comes on for just a second and goes off . More of a blink. Then once I go forward its back to normal. All is good again. This has happened once going left and once right. Can't take to dealer cause its happen twice since 2016. Anyone else ever had this issue?

You've kept count of 2 over 2 years, and know which side it came from?

    Thank you.

When I show this to my wife, maybe she won't call me 'retentive' for a couple of days.

In the meantime, I'd not be fretting over your issue. It could be any of a dozen things, and until it's consistent, almost impossible to find.

When I start to slowly turn the wheel is when it happens. Happens so rare hard to pin point anything.

Rereading the op , I wonder if the ping could be a sticking brake shoe or pad when it breaks free, thus causing the traction light because of one wheel sticking for a split sec.
    Edited!
