These EcoSmart 72-watt light bulbs are junk...

    image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg

In a matter of maybe 4-5 months, my front garage lights have gone through four of them!

This is not an isolated incident, either...

I used the same bulbs in the men's room at the bar where I work, and used 3 or 4 bulbs on the same two light fixtures in a few months!

However, I hit the Home Depot a couple weeks ago and picked up some replacements.

    image.jpg

    10 years...

If these things die before I'm at least 37 years old, I'm gonna have a bone to pick with Phillips!

    image.jpg

Anyway, I finally changed the bulbs out today (the weather has been rather shitty recently), and so far so good...

I also had some fun "properly disposing" of the defective light bulbs!

I went to the local Toyota dealer to see if they had any 2018 ACs on the lot, and unfortunately they did not (still only DCSBs), but this was in for service today...

What do you think of this wheel/tire combo on my Taco?

My dad says the tires are too big and aggressive, and would result in worse gas mileage...

The window sticker for my truck said 19 CITY and 25 HIGHWAY. According to @HomerTaco , my truck has factory 4.10s. I get right around 20 MPG, maybe a little less with the A/C on...

I don't think it's possible to make the fuel efficiency of a 4-banger truck any worse without serious mods!

The unfiltered Pilsner they serve all over Prague is the best beer bar none, I've ever had. Unfiltered also means unpasteurized so they have to consume each batch quickly on site. The only time any such suds made it to the US was when a very rich (I assume) bar owner had some kegs flown in for a festival on a private jet.

Yes but if you're like me and you love beer it is worth it to go there, and as a bonus there's all the Castles and bridges and other cool old buildings. Both Prague and Krakow somehow were spared any bombings in WWII. Oh and ummm then there's the slavic women. In Krakow in particular about one in ten women were stop you dead in your tracks beautiful.
