What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I'm moving to Georgia in April and depending on your free time and willingness I may message you to try it out. I've done small wrap jobs but nothing like a topper. I have no idea how to do seams and all that.

I think a bit of this is labor, as the roof rack has to come off, but yeah, it ain't cheap!! The whole estimate for the roof painting and the dent repair and repainting the right side of the bed is about $1135.00 !

It actually isn't too bad. I've never calculated my mpg difference between capped and capless, but I haven't noticed an excessive difference in fill up frequency. It will most likely change a little from that 17.4 though, but shouldn't by much.

 

The 17.4 includes a few trips pulling the camper. Also, winter-time gas mileage drops a lot!

Got my overkill bed stiffeners welded up today. All I had was 1/4 steel so that is what I used. I will get the holes drilled and then paint them with spray can bed liner before final mounting.

Installed this today (picture was taken before the install). Now I don’t have to worry about forgetting my radio everytime I go wheeling with buddies.

 

I got the same switch... and tried to wire it up using the fusible link that was provided with my lights. Unfortunately, my switch melted!! I ordered another, and was told to ensure I use a relay in my wiring setup in order to ensure there is not so much voltage going to the switch. Did you do this?
