It's less Tacoma and more mod
That's the one to have, that 4 door truck has an engine we never got here and would be very tough to find any parts for.

I wanna find an 04 with the ever elusive 8'' front diff. Never seen one. But want an 8'' front..

Is it an arm and a leg to buy plus your first born? or just an arm and a leg? haha

    A lot.

Co2 refill was around 20-30 bucks for a 20lb bottle.

Think my Dads 10lb Nitro tank was 130 bucks..or something.

    A lot more basically.

I mean if you have easy access to it, go for it! Be awesome. I have a 20lb bottle of CO2 and it is SUPER nice with 35s and was amazing on anything smaller. Fills tires super fast. Just don't run out  I've done that and had to bum air off of Mike before lol Karma for when his compressors died and he had to bum CO2 off of me for a trip.

    @BossFoss

Soooooo...would you be able to take off the wiper stalk from your parts truck and send it to me? Pretty sure my single cabs switch is dead. Tis the muddy season here now and keeping my windshield clean would be nice haha

I will pay for shipping and your time of course.

I know the truck and I know of the owner and I know it's got about 68k on it but I haven't went to actually look at it, because usually that's the nail in my coffin(check book).

He's allegedly wanting 14k but I heard through the grapevine that he'd take 12. Not bad for a basically broke in TRD Offroad with a normal T-case. I' probably convert it to a 5 speed but those details can come later. It's black, 1 owner, garaged, and taken very good care of, so it's got that going on.

know what prevents that? A torque wrench. amazing invention those things

bolts and parts dont just randomly fall off and break from MY truck. Ultimate mechanic right here!

My code reader finally came in, really stoked i have my own one of those now. Had 4 codes lol. including random miss fire, cyl 3 miss and cyl 4 miss.

I cleared them and have not had it pop back on again. Truck seems to be doing pretty well. Even with 2 people with me it seemed to go a bit faster and hold 2nd gear better going up teton pass. So i think were doing well now. crossing fingers

lol I am the same way. I try not to engage unless I'm serious. I hate when people waste my time thinking they have a silver tounge and I will let things go half of what I'm asking.

I hate these deals because they always come around tax season when Uncle Sam is reaching deep into my pockets.

I liked the auto in my '99, especially for hill climbs, etc, so I may keep the auto in it. This is assuming I purchase it.

Tell me about it. I almost passed on the D4D for that reason. Then reason came back around when I knew I'd proabably never see that exact year combo again. Uncle Sam can get a pmt plan if it comes to it.

Yeah, being in business, I don't exactly have that option, and if I did, I shouldn't be in business. I pay some sort of taxes every month, so it feels like that's all I do. IRS, Worker's Comp, Unemployment, Property tax, Use tax, and sales tax. But April looming always has consequences for us, like it or not, profit or loss. :(

And that's just the business. I still have quarterlies and the rest of personal taxes to deal with.

Oh I know all about it. It really is redic how much they shove on us to pay and how little the employee has to do. It should be a 1099 thing and it's the employees responsibilty to pay their own Social security, Medicare and unemployment each quarter. I understand workers comp as I pay for the risk of you getting injured working for me, fine but the rest is bogus. Why I have to match their social security and Medicare is beyond me. I pay more because I took the risk of owning a business?

Hire someone with child support and your legally obligated to take the money out of their check and send it off along with the paperwork. Do you get compensated for your time...nope.

Also @Blackdawg. I need to pull the steering wheel to get the wiper stock off. I would cut the wires, but since you want the cruise it's kind of all together. So with that get me a list of parts and I will just send you the cruise stuff too

That should be an employment screening tool. "Are you a deadbeat parent who hasn't been making their child support payments?"

It's funny(sorta not really) because I've done tons of freelance work as that's kinda the gig in my line of work. So a lot of 1099 stuff. And it still really sucks. It's hard to always know what is being taken out and how much. Hard to budget what you can save, spend, or set aside.

Taxes are never fun. But important to making thing run. My only real complaint is how mis used tax dollars are.

    Oh well fuck that.

I'll make a trip down there soon and just get the full column and shit. Be easier then shipping all the BS and also more fun!
