I'm lucky in my current job that both Unit Heads leave me alone except to ask what can they do or provide to help me. Not something that is common, at all. They are both a couple of years ahead of me and afraid they will retire before I do. If they do it might push me out sooner than I planned.

Was easier in the Navy for 20 years just go behind the boiler and fight it out. May not win but damn it you will respect me when it is over. Guess can't do that anymore there either

Good luck Chris! Hope it works out for you

Can't like that map. But do like that they are actually smart enough this time to close tomorrow and you don't have to drive through that shit. Don't forget to get the doughnuts tonight your going to be earning them tomorrow.

I was 26 when they hacked a chunk of meat out of back and thankfully it came back as a precancerous growth. It was only about the size of a thumb tack, but they cut out a 6" long an don't know how wide down to my ribs.
I asked why so much meat and the doc said that they like to be very cautious and they also test the meat around the growth as well.
Hope you have the same clear results, man cause it sucked for the 10 days I had to wait for the results.

Won a meat bowl sat. Cooked some off today. Thirty two degrees and flurrying while grilling. Passers by probably thought I was a moron. Good eats though.

Stole this and edited and added to it for those with sons or those with sons with sons :} It really applies to both sons and daughters with but a few exceptions, I know my daughters were taught a lot of these.

Frying oysters Saturday with my Dad I had a moment where I wondered, is this the last time we will do this together? After last November when Dad was sick, I have these thoughts I never really had before in my life. Thankful for each day we still have and enjoy him.

Mom is all I have left. Dad died before I was 18. I’m trying hard to get place up and running for her but she’s on the other side of big city about an hour or so drive so we talk by phone everyday. Brother is looking out for her there. All bills paid, while I’m busting my ass with 4 channels of free tv while he sits on his duff watching paid for cable.
