just tuck it in the middle the best you can. The dome housing itself will have a slight bow, but its normal.

I just kind of shoved it up there... the spring connector was kind of a bitch to get set in place but it all snapped in no problem.

If I wasn’t so damn OCD it wouldn’t be an issue. Not sure if this picture shows it or not. D95C9F2A-0B18-4D72-BA0F-1F825C1C6BC6.jpg

Looks like light is escaping out the one side. Maybe check to be sure it is all the way pushed up in the housing.

Edit - could just be the camera angle.

Yea. Looking closer it appears the led lights on the right side are all the way through but on the left side the lights have a small gap between the board and the plastic housing.

Put my red ultimate maps on during my lunch break, sat with them on for a minute or two and when i went to turn them off they were almost too hot to touch, anyone else notice their maps getting warm? Happy with them anyway. @mesojdm is there a recommended max run time on these?

They will get warm. (just like the OEM bulb does up inside) But being exposed in the front and plenty of room behind for ventilation they should be fine. I left one of mine on for 45min to test and was fine. obviously you should try not to leave them on for SUPER long periods of time(overnight, etc)

Looked through many pages, but does anyone know if there’s an install video/picture walkthrough for the maps, I’d rather go about it properly the first time. Would be much appreciated if someone happens to know where/if that exists.

Thanks, I watched that, was hoping more meso specific. Also that’s automatic, and mine’s manual, sure there’s no difference, pulling the whole units mandatory though? Swear I saw some good pics, went back through to page 60 before I posted didn’t find what I thought I had seen oh well gonna go for it sure it’s simple enough.
