Installed this today (picture was taken before the install). Now I don’t have to worry about forgetting my radio everytime I go wheeling with buddies.

I got the same switch... and tried to wire it up using the fusible link that was provided with my lights. Unfortunately, my switch melted!! I ordered another, and was told to ensure I use a relay in my wiring setup in order to ensure there is not so much voltage going to the switch. Did you do this?

How improved is the output? Is it brighter or just whiter?

    Looks good, at least :D.

Judging from that picture it's not putting out the claimed "1600 lumens" MAYBE 1600 for a set.. But I got these (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K3GBRQ2/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) For $20 and they are definitely brighter than stock as well as pure white. Doesn't wash out rear dash cam and would help if you had heavy tint (compared to stock).

Both brighter and more white... Can actually see to back up without opening the driver's window... Have pretty dark tinted windows.
Wish I had done before and after shots in the dark :(

You pretty much beat me to the set up I plan on doing once I get my SPOD installed. Rago fab gen2 ditch mounts and Black Oak LED. How do you like those pods? And what options did you get?

Most ARB's, those lights in the bumper will melt because they're designed to be turn signals and not on all the time. YMMV

That's why I swapped the incandescent bulbs with led's. Hoping to mitigate the heating up of the bulbs. Thanks for looking out! Inesshell did the swap and his are holding up well

Oh, cool. You should be good with LED's. I've seen a ton of guys in the 80 series world melt them. Looks good! I know there's lots of hate towards the ARB but I had one on my FZJ80 and it served me very well. Not sure if the anchor points on the Taco version are the same but on the 80's they need to be beefed up before doing any hard pulls.

Glad they worked out for you. you wont regret going led, ive had a few of the halogens go out over the years and got tired of asking arb to send me replacements. Leds should last you some time and draw less current/heat.
