What’s up gents. Hopping over from the NorCal thread. Jobs relocating so within the next 6-8 months I’ll be leaving Sacramento CA to be in Nashville. Anyone have good recommendations for good areas to buy/rent? Also good places for camping/fishing? I look forward to meeting you guys. Very glad to have the opportunity to get out of CA. I’m originally from OK/TX about time to be somewhat close to home

Welcome! The housing market in Nashville and even the surrounding counties is nuts. If you’re willing to get outside that area it’s pennies on the dollar, but then you’re driving 50+ miles to get there like me. Damned if you do. Damned if you don’t. Haha

 

If you can get away with not living in Davidson county I would. Nashville is very interesting city now. You can have a 400k house right next to the projects. It’s like that through the whole city. And prices are super inflated right now. If you can look at mt Juliet, White House, pleasant view or similar.

 

The bubble is going to pop again, eventually.

 

If I can I want property away from Nashville. I don’t mind a commute. Just more opportunity to be spotted

 

If you end up wanting to look in Mt. Juliet, let me know. I have an excellent realtor that works primarily in that area.
