Not hard.
Socket assembly, pull the console. Make sure of clearance.
Drill and finish the right size hole. Snap it in. Run the two wires and just
Connect to the forward lighter connector with removable connectors.

I have not put one behind the console but one double usb under the passenger middle dash vent and a 12v acc on the console under the dash and one in the cap. Not real hard to do just be really careful where you get power from and figure out if you want it hot all the time.

Do you have an aftermarket Bluetooth stereo such as a Pioneer head unit ??

My Pioneer 4200 NEX has (2) USB Cables , a USB -C and older USB cable that I can plug in any device and are long enough for any passenger or myself to plug into

No, just the factory but it has a USB input. But i need 12v for the power where USB is 5v. I just need to get power to the DVD so she can throw on her headphones on a 9 hr trip lol.
