Got the vinyl inlays and covered up those ugly red letters. I really really don’t like the color red.

That’s funny. I hated the red TRD bedside decal on my Silver OR, until I got these wheels. Now there is enough red that it kinda ties all together.

Lol no bed side decals for me and no red anywear visible on the truck so they had to go. I agree it’s a good accent if there’s more red

I was going to ditch my bedside decals as well, but I like to remind people my Tacoma was developed for racing, and driving off road.

I feel it's an awesome ride, The stock fox suspension rode obviously better being it was tuned especially for the pro. I wanted some lift thats why I opted for the icon set up.

Hey Guys, read the first few pages but without reading all 68, is rub an issue for these 4runner wheels and the BFG 265/70/16 on an off road? I'm looking to ONLY change out wheels and tires, but not if I'll get rub. If there is rub, is there a quick fix for it? Also, any negatives in general going to this setup over stock? I understand they aren't large or heavy enough to warrant regearing or making the truck underpowered, correct?

No rub on or off-road for 265/70/R17. No need to remove mud flaps or trim anything. Slightly harsher ride, slightly less mpg

Thanks. I thought a few on here said they had rub? Maybe they had extra stuff done though?

I have had a really good look over the few months I’ve been running this setup, and there is no evidence at all on my truck of rubbing. I have not been rock-crawling, mind you, but every other off-road scenario.

My only negative at all, really, is the ride on road is not as smooth as with the stock wranglers. You feel small bumps and such more, but not so much it’s annoying. My K02s are the C-rated.

You will appreciate the “stance”, the different offset gives you.

What I don’t get, is aren’t these the same tires as stock, only difference is 16 to 17 diameter? So not a huge increase in size so you’d think they’d have plenty of room...
