What's up guys. Been registered on TW for a while, but mostly a lurker.

    Currently in a 96 FZJ80, but looking to add a 1st Gen.

Looking forward to a purchase so if anybody knows of anyone parting ways in SoCal, shoot me a line.

Should have clarified a bit. Keeping the 80. Just looking add to the stable. If you're looking to sell outright let me know.

You got me a bit excited. I am not currently actively looking to sell. Maybe soon, though.

I will keep you in mind. I might have to sell it soon. A locked 80 series is what I want.

Keep an eye out up in Sacramento, and out east to Phoenix. A lot seem to pop up there. Mostly rust free examples. Snagged mine south of Phoenix and drove it back to SD.

It's less Tacoma and more mod
Jealous of your 80 man, makes mine look tiny. Is it triple locked? Mine is but my rear locker isn't so happy. Check out the PNW areas on the east side of the Cascades for Tacos, plenty if rust free examples up there because they refuse to salt the roads and use sand and glycol instead. Found my 96 4x4 ext cab taco rust free in Gig Harbor though haha

Its not, I actually preferred to buy one unlocked due to the actuators going bad. Assuming that's what happening to your rear? ARBs sitting on the shelf, just have to find the time to drop the thirds and send them off. Never ending money pit with these things, but good time nonetheless.
