I am planning on 700lb springs as I want a HD front bump and winch combo plus the skids already installed. Will be doing the dual battery and coompressor up front. This will all add up the weight.

What I have read about 600 lb is the droop after you add the weight. 650lb would be better but I am heavier at my young age so went with 700's

The rating, 600/650/700, is the amount of weight/force needed to compress the springs 1".

Thank you! The guys over there @Dirt King Fab are awesome and they provide great customer service. I had a shipping issue due to me having a p.o.box on a military base so they sent it and just paid the extra shipping. I am probably going with lower control arms from them as well when I get the dough.

If you forget you don't have one and try to take off ramps at 70. I made a sudden lane change on the interstate at 70mph recently when the driver in front of me decided to break for no reason and body roll wasn't too sketchy

    Workin' on it....
Better stability in the case of sudden evasive maneuvers and not dying. Compromise is less articulation.

Only reason I want a heavier coil spring (650/700) is because I plan on removing the sway bar finally. But, the wife still drives the bitch occasionally and I don't want anything to happen to her. Hence why I think I will be going with 700lb coils

I went remote resi with compression adjusters and 700# springs. Have had them on for about 6 months. Didn't like the jarring stiffness going into gas stations or my driveway that has an acute incline. Removed my swag bar 2 weeks ago, rides like butter now. I don't notice any difference at all. Ride is still a little stiff upfront, but I'm getting an ARB bumper and atleast IFS skid soon. Should ride even better after that. I have sinced removed and sold my Light Racing UCAs and went to Total Chaos. Might switch back to Light Racing with the new greaseable joint in the future, the TC UCAs tend to be squeaky at times unless I hit em with some CFC lube frequently.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

I had a couple messages from people asking some questions and wanting more pictures.

255/80/17 has no rubbing when putting on the coilover with ads factory settings, even at full lock. No Cab mount chop either.

The factory settings on stock tires gave me about 2 inches of lift. With the bigger tires I got over 3 inches.

If I adjust my front coilover a 1/2 in to an 1in to give more lift will it affect my preload in a bad way?

You should be ok. As long as you don't go to much and go over spec.

Is there a spec sheet online somewhere? I can seem to find one for my ADS and don't know what is the recommended maximum preload.
