    Part of the reason i wend to resi in the rear was that after two sets of extended billies died from potholes, patch bumps, and seam bumps from Canada down to Georgia, it was time for an upgrade. Not to mention that the Billies usually shit the bed when it was single digits, salty, and a slopping fargin mess.

    I'd look for leaks, and I'd look for sighs that the shocks have been cycled. THere should be a line of dirt on the piston where it compressed.

    Also corrosion or dings on the shaft.

    I went RR in the rear cuz they look cool:cool: if I ever change the front from ome/886 idk what I'll do. My new thing is looking at junkyard and CL for axles from a 05+ stuperduty. May start a 10yr project. Haha but I may not either really kicking around picking up a JL Rubicon with the diesel for a DD if they ever come out or a diesel canyon or Colorado.....It's nice to dream haha
