Oh well at least the snow helps justify the new snowblower this year haha

 

I mail my town a check.

Have to pay the last quarter of my real estate taxes too. I was holding off waiting for my abatement, which they finally gave me. They even gave me more than I asked for!

 

I’ll be paying our excise taxes online today... at least I don’t have to go to the clerks office.

My wife is getting increasingly annoyed. Today's a wash, likely tomorrow as well. Honestly, with how bad Brockton is at snow removal it wouldn't surprise me if she was off Thursday as well.

My work only closes if they declare a travel ban (they were open once when the T wasn't working and their main office is in downtown Boston) so I just took it as PTO.

 

That's why we didn't get a pink Jeep or the pink FJ. He'll enjoy it when he's old enough to drive it. This summer I want to put rubber tires on hers. And more the pedal to a variable switch instead of just on/off and possibly upgrade to 18v...

 

I've never been, but my wife loves it. We both work right by it.

 

Agreed skinny all the way! I loved my 33x10.5. I never broke anything in the front, rode on the highway without pulling all over. My next truck will get pizza cutters for sure. Trail rig go wide but very little performance difference off-road between the two.



Got out of work at 8am, made it home before the wind hit. So we lost power in the midst of cooking ribs. Grill wouldn’t stay lit so I had to move it. Tree fell on the house, hit the grill had to move it again... ribs are still cooking!! Tree just fell on the neighbors house. But for a plus I drove my truck to work for the first time in months and the snow hides all the dents. Looks like I will drive it tonight as I’m sure trees will be down all over.

 

It's awesome. There's always a wait though and it seems like they're still working out the kinks with their bigger space. But the food is so good which makes it worth the wait.

 

Ordered a full set of mobtown skids this morning and the rci gas skid. Will be ready for some this spring. Will eventually get sliders, but all this armor is pricey, especially all at once! And after adding all that weight I will probably want to do the suspension before I get sliders anyways.

Think some shingles came loose and the gutter is mangled. Grill has a dent but the ribs look good. As of yet nothing worth going through Insurance, but we have a long way to go. Fingers crossed a tree will crush the mustang however.

 

I need all of you to leave sooner rather than later in the summer too. That's when I get everything done!

 

When you start sourcing parts, please let me know! I've been looking into doing the same with our powerwheel. I've been having trouble finding decent rubber tires. I've found the rubber 'straps' but not decent rubber tires that don't require a lot of modification to fit. Mine are probably a little young for the 18v modification but maybe in a year or 2. I know I can get a 24v modification also, that would make a nice, strong yard crawler.

For tires it seems like the easiest way to get rubber tires is buying 4 cheap tractor wheel/ tire combos from Tractor Supply. Then you just need a small piece of PVC to act as a spacer and drill a screw a set screw onto the driveshaft.
I haven't found a kit that is a direct swap unfortunately. It's crazy no one takes one. Those plastic wheels are so annoying on pavement.
