Hmmm, my CAD experience is more audio room and rack design, but I don't see that being much different as far as a design standpoint.

 

do you currently use/run AutoCAD? you can learn the designs, just need to be fast/experienced with AutoCAD.

 

I have just gotten back into using CAD over the past few months for work and personal use as of the past few weeks. But CAD is kinda like a bike, don't ever forget it, just get reacquainted with it

 

AHHHH!! The black background is too Matrix ish for me, lol. I keep it white! But I also cant post any of my drawings....damn guvment ish!

 

I mean if anybody is legit interested just let me know, they want somebody ASAP. Having to use a temp agency right now to get some work done.

 

The white hurts my eyes. Here's just one duct out of 20 or so for a cement plant in Missouri.

Yea same really. Luckily my CAD drawing are equipment to equipment and the connecting likes are specific cables..IE control, audio, video, network, etc

 

I literally draw the CAD drawings by hand for the mechanical stuff and just hand it to the CAD folks "here draw this as shown" and sometimes they can't even do that.

 

HAHA, oh man, I'm hired!

 

I can draw cabinets in Autocad.

 

lol it doesn't go the same way with electrical I'm pretty sure, but none of it here is awful.

Wow. Yea I do a lot more that draw what is shown here. I assume they don't have to do calculations. Like thermal growth etc. etc.

 

haha no they do not. not at all. this job would be boring to you.

 

No, we have to a little more detailed since 1 wrong cable or connection will prevent our system from working haha. I mean I am always looking for better opportunities but with my limited experience since its not my primary job requirement, I feel I don't have the experience they are needing/wanting

 

Only thermal growth I had when drawing was from the secretary at the front desk.
