I bought this truck at around 170k. It has been taken to the dealer the whole time but the specifics on the service history are spotty.

Currently have this on tap to take care of. Anything else I should add to the list?

    PCV valve replacement
    Coil boot/spring replacement
    Spark plugs (NGK iridium)
    Valve cover gasket.
    MAF sensor cleaning

Possibly run some sea foam through it too. Not sure as I haven’t had much experience with it.

Might as well put a fresh air filter in. What about differential/transmission fluids?

Whats the thought behind the valve gasket and pcv valve?

I saw a video where someone said a lot of times it gets gunked up with oil after awhile. Diff fluid was replaced 10k ago. Transmission is due for service in 5-10k.

Valve cover gasket is because I have a small leak.

Oil change, filter change, and all that happened 1k ago.

How do the serpentine belt and cabin air filter look? Probably the least expensive parts to replace for the return you get when needing replacement and super easy too.

....Oops, just realized you have a 2004 so scratch the cabin air filter and insert drive belt(s) for serpentine.

Those look pretty good and right. I don’t really see any wear on the belt at all either.

Coolant probably needs service as well, not sure what the 1st gen service intervals are. My 2nd Gen 2.7 says service the coolant at 100k miles and every 50k after.
Also at that mileage I would bleed out the old the brake fluid and freshen up the power steering fluid as well.

Sounds good! I’ll plan on giving that a go as well. What fluids do you recommend?

If you have pink coolant, use the OEM stuff. There are "equivalent" coolants for Asian makes but they don't save you a ton of dough.
Brake fluid, I use DOT3/4 synthetic, not expensive and should be bled out every 3-4 years anyway.
Power steering fluid, basic stuff is fine (Prestone, store brand, etc). Honda is the only make I know of that has a proprietary power steering fluid formula.
