is there ANY way at all to mod and lower the driver seat? I love the new truck but this huge ass steering wheel is so big its fairly uncomfortable when I need to move my leg to brake/accelerate.

I already tried looking for an aftermarket steering wheel that had all the functions of the stock and didn't come up with anything. also im not really wanting to replace the front seats considering that wont be cheap and who knows if they'll even be as comfortable as the stock (likely wont look as good or be leather either from the options I saw).

    HELP!!!!!

    thanks

Some people have gone to an auto upholstery shop and had the seat cushion modified.

I've test driven vehicles that we're completely fine on test drives, but the first time I took a 4 hour drive became incredibly uncomfortable. Someone who isnt tall would probably make this suggestion, I'm guessing you're not tall.

Six foot. I have the Sport with sunroof. I don’t wear a hat, but if I did, I’m sure there would be an issue with headroom.
I hope Toyota addresses this issue in upcoming updates.

I had an issue of hitting my chin on the lower dash when pushing in the clutch pedal. Figured out you can extend the steering wheel out and set the seat a bit farther back which changed the leg angle just enough to eliminate the chin bashing.

I thought you were joking about this, I think you mean Shin.. if you are hitting your chin then you are doing something strange.

the 2nd gen is not much better I thought about modifying the seat rail to get me lower. it looks like there is enough room to modify the rail to lower the assembly.

I'm 6'1" and I wish seat would go higher. The seating position is very unique the way it is with the legs straight out.

yea the steering wheel doesn't extend long enough for me to be comfortable or high enough... so for now I have it as high and long as it goes and I have the seat back as far as it goes. I'll be looking into that seat cushion modification this weekend for sure though!

one more inch upward on the steering wheel and I'd be fine, but no Toyota wants to be difficult...

be glad you do not have a sunroof. That was the only reason I wanted a PRO, but wasn't going to pay $10k to get it deleted.
