You can tighten up a timney drop in trigger and it will dump the clip if you pull it one time. Crazy shit.

 

I decided to Google the word, "dibs" or "dib". Being a former spelling club champion in middle school I like derivations and etymology. Here you have it for all future generations to peruse and enjoy.

Mavic tracking fail. Videos are boring, just shows me out running the drone over and over again. Supposedly they can get up to 33mph but only saw mine get up to 25mph. Useless for anything but crawling.

 

Active track sucks 01 - the first half of this one wasn't to bad. It seems like as soon as it starts to fall behind it starts to climb and looses forward momentum (As evident in video 02). the last 20 seconds of 02 was a cool shot. at least on active track 3 it didn't fly its self into the cliff. at 3:15 that was another good shot of the whole valley. It at least tries it's best to follow but just can't keep up. It really isn't too bad for a drone to fly itself.

 

Some of the angles look slick, but on a whole I was disappointed. It couldn't even keep up with my casual cruising speed much less hauling ass, though that might say more about me than the drone. I'll tool around with it again with Mike out in Utah when we aren't in the national park.

 

But how to you NOT drive fast through those washes?

 

Its not fun unless you're sliding around corners in 4WD. Yeah it's painful driving that slow in an area like that.

Did you have it in Sport mode?

 

Pretty sure sport mode disables most, if not all of the sensors on the drone and makes so you can't use any of the tracking functions. It would be nice if they would set it up that you could though

 

Yup, sport mode does disable all that. A wall in my front yard confirmed that for me

 

But even more fun in 2wd locked...

 

just checked my email. No email from ECGS. So they most likely won't be here by Friday. Lets just do it this weekend. trying to knock out two trucks in a driveway might be too aggressive.

 

I knew it disabled all safety functions but was’t aware that the tracking functions were disabled as well.
