You can use them together. I'd change some other suspension components while you're at it though. 3" lift on a 3rd gen is maxing out factory specs already.

I put the 885's in without the spacer at first. The truck rubbed slightly after everything settled, only when going into my driveway. So after talking with Marie at headstrong I put that spacer in to get me just a bit more clearance without having to pull the strut apart again. Saved myself some time.

Boom, makes total sense. Probably better to add a spacer to the strut assembly than using a wheel spacer and potentially ruining hub components, right?

It's a bunch of individual pieces. They go on as one. They have been on the truck for almost 2 years now and all is good. Wash it all the time.

How much lift did you gain from the 885s?

About 1 3/4 inch. The spacer added about 1/2 more.

    Can the 88
That's what I was thinking. Are the 883s compatible with the 5100s? Do you know what the 883s and 884s will lift it?

I don't think the 883 will get you anything, maybe a 1/2", the 884s are about an 1"- 1 1/4" from what i have read. And any of the Tacoma springs are good with the 5100's.

I'm thinking 887's and Dakars on my DC LB. Have a cap on back and the Dakar's would help with additional camping/hunting gear.

So, replace the OME shocks with billys? Should I also change the coils? UCA? What else would you suggest (making myself a Christmas list)

Bilstein 5100s, all four. 887 coils with the 5100s set at 2nd notch. Light Racing UCA. Diff. drop kit. Block, or 1.5" AAL in the rear with some shims. Call it a day

885 coils are suppose to lift the truck 1.75" but I think I saw more around 1.5. I just installed a 1" block because the rear sag was really bugging me. May be hard to tell in some of the pics, but the rear is about 0.5" higher than the front now.

And I forgot to mention but I do have a 1/4 spacer on the front driver side to account for the taco lean.

Very nice stance. How did your driveline react to the block lift? I had installed a 1" block but took it off because I didn't like the small vibration/shutter that it created.

So far, I haven't notice any change in how it drives.

So with the 1/4 spacer, it lifted a total of 1.75 inches? How much lift do you think you still have today with this set up? Looks like a nice set up

It's still pretty much the same as it was in those pictures. I think my front end was fully settled when I took those pictures. Here's the most recent picture I have of my truck (2ish weeks old)
