This. I joined early before the masses and instafamous crowds. I agree with the message and the goal, hence why I joined.

But the idea of ‘exploration is necessary’... while holding an ‘off the grid rally’ at a concrete campsite is an oxymoron. I don’t wish to be financially tied to how they portray the ‘doesnt Matter what you drive’ but then plug in companies products for he claims are necessary. They’ve created this massive Toyota based overland atmosphere of all these ‘overland’ companies selling out memberships for invites. It’s people who feel the need to pay for friends and attention.

 

That’s how ours usually are also. We all know each other so everyone is usually bullshiting before it starts. You start thinking to yourself did someone die or Am I about to get my ass handed to me.

I think everyone is pist cuz there are usually bagels and coffee but apparently someone forgot.

 

I'd start with, "Oh well, you know how they make the holes in bagels anyway?!?"

Interesting. But if you're airing down, shouldn't there be some increased concern over sidewall durability? Seems if you were going to take some serious damage it would be in this area.

Someone obviously had a better offer. The OP started with "willing to separate" but then changed it to "Not willing to separate" after seeing all the demand. I don't blame them for trying to sell it all at once and be done.

The way i see it, it’s fritz’s rack and he can sell it to whoever he wants.
The fact someone says “first” doesn’t mean shit. Maybe the other guy wanted it more and offered more. Maybe @Pcyc got a text from someone, who knows someone, who sent him nudes to hold it for them. Who knows.

Sucks for you @Twizted , but unfortunately sometimes thats the way it goes.

 

Was in the middle of discussing picking it up this weekend, when all of a sudden the terms went from willing to separate, into not willing to separate. As specified in post #2, I was only ever interested in the rack. I'm happy for the buyer, and I suppose for the seller, but I'm obviously disappointed that I was pushed out after OP had changed the terms after we started discussions.
