    Hey, nothing wrong with that. I couldn't imagine anything worse than being super against kids and having one. I never had that OMGIWANTKIDS streak some people do, but I was never anti-kid. Now that she's here, I couldn't imagine not having her, but I can also respect that some people don't want kids either and I have more respect for those who choose not to actually not having them. While I do believe people can change their mind, I also don't think people should feel forced or be shamed into it.

    I turned 34 two weeks after Brenna was born. I couldn't imagine having kids much younger than that. In my mind I'm still 18. The wife is always making comments like, really Mike, you want to wear that? Or "isn't the bass a bit loud" etc, etc.

    While our household budget has taken a hit, since we don't go out to eat nearly as much as we used to and I'm pretty rigid in my budgeting, I've actually accrued more fun spending money now than before. We used to go out to eat on Friday / Saturday night and that was good for at least $20 per night. When my personal budget is $60/week for things like that, it would add up fast. Now that we've switched to eating in and/or takeout, I can put $30-40 of that $60 right in the truck fund.

    We've also hit the jackpot in that she's basically been sleeping through the night since 2.5 months. I probably sleep in less, but that's been good for the productivity anyways.

    Doing something wrong, then.

    Shrug. I'm not 'anti-kid' so to speak; I enjoy playing honorary uncle and doing stuff with the 'nephews' and my younger cousins. I just haven't had any desire to produce any offspring of my own yet. The GF is on the same page; likes kids fine but doesn't want any of her own at this point. People keep telling me that I'll change my mind as I get older, but it hasn't happened yet. :notsure:

    With my luck, I'll be one of those poor bastards who decides at 45 that he wants kids and is ready to retire when they graduate high school but gets stuck working until they finish college :laugh:

    Look at the money the Dolphins offered him. 2 years 11 million with 8.25 guaranteed. He has made 9 million in the past 4 years with us so I can't blame him for leaving. I did like his production in the offseason though. Miami also just lost their best WR so I still don't lose sleep over them.

    It just bugs me seeing a good player leave for another team. Especially after this season, where we let Chris Long and Blount walk and they both wound up in Philly and beat us in the Superbowl. Amendola was just getting to be really reliable for us, too.
