I may have tweaked a few things...
It's true, and you really can't blame someone for getting the best deal for themselves. It's how you handle it with all the people involved that shows what class you may or may not have.

in California a verbal/text or email, agreement is a binding contract and you could file a small claim against him so im told by a friend, not sure if its worth the effort or how true that is.

Since we discussed it previously. I believe @Mademan925 brought up the "RealID". While its not enforced until 2020 per what was released. One of the owners today was not allowed on TAFB because his ID is not a REALID. It says "Federal Limits Apply". We explained the situation while questioning about the 2020 date the Guest Advisors on base told us simply "we can do whatever we want."

He was not allowed on base for our meeting this morning. So go get your Real IDs if your license is expiring soon. Dont just renew blindly thinking you'll be fine. My ID is the old style and i was and have been allowed on every time.

Weird. I renewed my DL in December online. On the back it says:

    Restrictions: None

Are the restrictions only on 2018 And beyond licenses?

what screw him is the bold text." federal limits apply" never show a guard anything with bold text. old id's dont say anthing like that, so guard just sees the 1000th id this hour. no big deal, but you put that text on there and im covering my ass and you can go stand over there and talk to the sarge. sarge can get in the shit. or like they say, thats above my pay rate..

Doesn’t say that. Sweet, I have 2 years to track down my birth certificate... ;)

Dammit. I felt unrestricted for a few minutes.

Don’t listen to Nick. Live unrestricted George. Whatever that means to you.

Don’t really bring my passport around daily for an impromptu meeting on base. Law doesn’t enforce until 2020. Was bullshit and annoying to deal with as we went into a high stress meeting.
