    I love getting this question.. I’ll get the typical reaction for saying I’m from upstate NY; however, I can typically redeem myself when I say it was Active Duty that brought me here 15 years ago.

    Yeah it’s not uncommon, the place I grew up in is a 6 hour drive to NYC. Very rural, grew up working on dairy farms, etc.

    I think the only things that separate us is ice fishing and that barbecue is an event and not used to label a specific type of pulled pork. But that’s just splitting hairs.
