Nice! Post it up on the ridge grappler thread when they're mounted! I was thinking of 34s too, but didn't want to do it on stock gearing. I have 285 ridge grapplers and they work great so far.

These are 33.3” the 285/75/17 would have been 33.6”.

Does anyone have an idea what to do to secure the front grill, here they've been stealing them as quick as Flash. Damn nobody can have a vehicle safe ...

Did you buy another set of TPMS for your new wheels/tires? I swapped mine with someone else's not realizing that 2016 4runner's TPMS don't work with ours :(

Ah, the "true" 33's. Any reason why you went with those instead of the 285/75/17s? I went with the 285/70/17 ridge grapplers because I didn't want to regear just yet and that they were a lot lighter than the 285/75/17s. After regearing I'll go up the 34.4 or true 35 tire.

Went with the 295 because it was only .3” taller than the 285/70 no real weight diff in my opinion and I’m at 33” (mental thing” lol . Yes had the TPMS put on new tires when mounted . That way not breaking down OEM set !

Was realizing this more and more after two years of ownership. Long beds look kind of funny without a lift.

I agree to a certain degree. Maybe it’s just my preference but, I just like Tacoma’s with lifts more than stock.
That’s why I got my longbed tho is I really like the versatility of the longer bed and the esthetics .

They're 7 pounds heavier than the 285/70s each. I was going to go with the 4runner trail wheels too, but those were also about 8 pounds heavier than the wheels I have right now; so in my mind, reducing unsprung weight by by 15 pounds at each corner was a good idea. Now, I don't know if that's a big difference for trucks, but coming from a car standpoint that's huge.

You'll have to let me know how your mpgs are with those on! I'm at about 15.5 without the % correction now that the weather is a little warmer. I only have rock sliders as additional weight.

Ha! That’s what counts (in my mind ) !
I imagine if it’s like my short bed I will drop 1.5-2mpg’s .
I really like to get as much mpg as possible, but the fact is I’m more interested with these trucks in having fun...again with everything just the way I look at it.

Yeah, that's why I'll eventually go to 35s. The only reason why I'm concerned about gas mileage is because I hate filling up all the time lol.
