Yes, without the cab mount job you will rub when turning. And without clearing the wheel wells a little bit you will rub when flexing

 

Just wanted to make sure you knew that size tire is not plug and play, I have my hands full with move and getting old place ready to rent.

 

Even on the 3rd gens? I have a total of 3” of front. 1”from the factory and an additional 2”. If you guys think I’ll need it I’m in. If and when I sell the 265’s anyone want to give a brotha’ a hand with the cmc and wheel wells?

 

The 285's on my stock 4Runner with 2.5" lift rubs bad! Good thing I only have a 1/2 mile commute to work.

 

usually requires some trimming of the bumper as well if you will keep the factory bumper... you can usually clear out enough inside so it does not look like you trimmed

 

I run 285s with spacers and hardly any trimming.

 

No need for cmc on 3rd gens. I have 2in lift and clear 285's fine. Only had to trim about a mm off the drivers side at full flex and lock.

 

That’s what I’m talking about @kashtyaatsi! Now who wants these pretty much new KO2’s?
