I have this one - and love it: Only issue at install was the electric cable for the trailer hitch hookup was too short....

Thanks. No backup sensors on mine. Backed into a frickin pole the other day and well, I was wanting a different bumper anyway! Forgot I was driving the truck instead of the Yaris.

Did you just extend the old wires? Splice or do they sell an extension?

I have this and love it. It’s very easy to install.

I can confirm the wiring for the trailer hookup is a bit short. But if you unsecure the wiring from the frame a few feet under the truck you can get enough slack to make it work. I just zip tied it back to frame to re-secure once connect.

C59AC8C9-07C8-4FEF-9598-5CED5DF2FFDC.jpg It’s a great bumper, I have it on mine. You’ll need the tow package with it. There’s plenty of similar bumpers for 3rd gen Tacoma’s. I like them rather plain with the two shackles.

Replacing the cheap plastic bumper with a steel bumper is the best upgrade in my opinion. Plus you can sell your old one locally for up to $300 or more. Don’t sell it online, shipping is really high for oversized boxes.

Also, I’ve installed a front hitch and will look for a low profile metal bumper at some point. Most of the aftermarket front bumpers are god awful ugly.

That ^^^ both bumpers look better than stock for sure.

Slightly different look - I think the 1 I have you can put BU sensors on it... I don't have em so not sure. If I did maybe would not have had to get new bumper!
