Sorry to hear your shipment got delayed. Be patient, it will arrive.

CTFO dude. Follow OVTune and you'll be alerted to his posts. Post #21 seems a little early to start being rude.

No dont need to chill,we already have 700 pages of people talking about tracking and all sorts of irrelevant things. This has nothing to do with me following ov posts. You and others are spamming random content when folks questions concerning the tune could be getting answered. “Im excited about this tune my tracking updated” isnt relevant. Cool im glad your getting a tune but keep it to your self or start a bs thread like MANY others do. This isnt a BS chat thread.

There is usually a 20% loss in power from the flywheel/crank shaft to the wheels

....and if those tuning questions are for Mat, he has already stated multiple times that this thread is not the place to be asking questions directed at him (you should be emailing him directly). If those questions are for the general tacomaworld populace, then I think the boat for the "keep this thread on track" issue has sailed.......like 700 pages ago.......

Besides, at this point any question you can think of has more than likely been answered already

Well at least he said sorry lol. But for real though we talking about 308hp with the tune? At crank.
Arent those graphs outdated? They were from when he first started the tune right? Also i see like 3 or 4 lines... im used to traditional 2 lines stock tune then second line is with tune

That's top end power, the same kind of power you'd get from an exhaust or intake upgrade. But as trucks, they never get to top end because you know... Trucks...

You know on the stock tune when you are cruising around 35 - 40mph and the truck goes into 6th, then you go to accelerate and see rpms go slightly up then bog down, then it downshifts to 4th and takes off.

That still seems to happen on OVtune when the truck makes it 6th at that speed. Maybe I'm just so used to SSP. Is it just me or....? Just noticing that and my last post got buried fast.

I just don't love that feeling of bogging at low speeds, even though It's a lot smoother and much faster transition on the tune.

Received my dongle key and finished flashing my ECU today. I must admit I had buyer's remorse prior to receiving my kit but after my initial test drive, all I can say is WOW!! Worth every penny!
    Thanks Mat!

I notice it too but the difference I've noticed compared to stock is that the tune (87 for me) gives me a little bit of acceleration in 6th so while I feel bogged down I still have power vs no power in 6th and having to mash the pedal to get it to jump to 4th. And with the tune it'll smoothly shift to 5th instead of 4th for normal acceleration.

I'm still getting used to the tune myself. Sometimes I feel like it's bogged down but then I realize it's only by the sound of the exhaust. The power is still there though.

I've noticed this. Would like it to just "know" what gear to go to not try one then the next appropriate gear. Could be I'm not handling the pedal properly ...
