So I got the stutter in 4th at 2500 rpms when cold going up a hill. Pretty bad too. Went away once warmed up from what I can tell.

Tune definitely needs some work. I emailed ovtune to see what he says.

It’s definitely better than stock but it’s rough in some regards. Throttle tip in is a bit aggressive than what I think it needs to be along with my other observations.

Only 100 miles so far. I’ll update as the miles add up.

Are you running 1.03B? 1.03C has a less aggressive throttle tip in

I dont want to come across as condescending, by any means, but that map has a significantly less aggressive throttle tip in and neutering it further may as well be a return to the OEM tune and the issues that came with it.

1.03C feels muted compared to 1.03B. Give yourself some time to adjust to the throttle. It could be a result of becoming accustomed to the stock throttle, thus any changes feels extreme.

Did you do the idle for 10 mins? Also, Matt has said to give it time for the truck to relearn itself.

This. I actually asked Matt if he could create a file that was between B and C as for as tip in goes. Well see if ever comes about. I have ~500 miles on C and enjoying it, but that throttle response on B was tits.

Mat probably screams to himself lol everyone is different with their preferences and this is a perfect example, because to me 1.03C is perfect. Then we have the guys who screamed about how 1.03B is perfect and said everyone who wanted C didn't know how to drive and then you've got yourself, wanting a middle ground (no disrespect, I promise you).

Wonder if he's got himself a punching bag yet

Yea B was a bit overly sensitive and C feels more like stock in terms of responsiveness. Somewhere in the middle i think would be about perfect.

He's probably inundated with PM. It's better to reach him via email.

once I have time to get a MT here in person I will have a new round of development.

It's difficult to make one file that everyone likes. B is too much, C is too little, C is too much, B is just right...

@OVTune - I'm 04B11 running 1.03C 87 tune - I'd be thrilled with B or C if they didn't have the stuttering. Its getting pretty bad with C. I get a pretty dramatic drop in RPM in reverse that causes bucking. The stuttering is getting worse, not better with time. Looking forward to the next iteration.

Going to flash back to stock in a week - have an appointment at Toyota and if they drive it they will certainly notice the stuttering.

You guys confuse tip in with actual throttle maps.

Alright. Well in that case do you have 1.03B so that you can run that too and see if that's more to your liking?
