    Another find in the spectator lot at Raceway Park...

    I forget what year this truck was (I think either 1985 or 1986), but it's a loaded F350 XLT Lariat with the 7.3L diesel. The owner was absolutely thrilled that I showed such an interest in his truck and took it as a compliment when I asked to take pictures of it. I forget whether it was automatic or stick shift, but I do know that it was very well-equipped (cruise, tilt, power windows, power locks, etc) and it even had working A/C (still R-12 and still ICE COLD according to the owner). I was jealous of this truck!

    You're brother is the quintessential bartender...

    He knows the beer menu like the back of his hand, serves drinks quickly, and is willing to chat with his customers if he's not too busy!

    What is it with automakers and clothing companies partnering up?

    I don't have a problem with it and I think lot of these special edition vehicles (like the Eddie Bauer Ford trucks and the North Face Chevy Avalanche) are pretty cool. My only grievance is that when new, these vehicles are considerably more expensive than a similarly-equipped vehicle of a "lower" trim level, and you are essentially just paying for the brand...

    I saw this Jeep while walking Tully this afternoon and seriously did not know that there was a Columbia Edition!

    If you look closely you can see that the seats say "Columbia" on them too...

    @Gr8fl

    Pat was bartending today when my parents and I went to Chambers for my birthday dinner, and he told me that his friend obtained a free second gen with a bad engine! The truck has a new frame and a clear title. He is unsure of whether it's a 2.7L or 4.0L but he admits he doesn't know much about 2nd Gens so he wants to talk with me tomorrow about the specifics and see I can offer my opinion...

    What’d you have for dinner? They have a very good menu, though I think it was better when Brett was cooking.

    Interesting on the 2nd gen, so much someone could do with that over time with a little effort and investment. Maybe even cram in a Tundra 5.7..:burnrubber:
