Yeah, on customoffsets.com they rate the stance by mild, aggressive, super aggressive ext. so instantly I thought of the pic I posted. You might have to put the 275’s on a tire stretcher lol!

I see. No stretching. Just looking to stick a nice ~33" under there with plenty of sidewall. I currently have 285/65r18(~33") which looks good but not the look I'm going for.

I assume you had steel wheels and went to aluminum? Steel wheel lugs are totally different than what's used on the aluminum wheels.

Yes I just switched my stock steel rims on my 2017 SR to the Off-Road stock rims.

Would any of these work? Keep in mind I pretty much have no knowledge about this subject lol so any help is appreciated.

    Hey guys,

So I have an SR5 with steel wheels on, trying to switch them out to TRD beadlock wheels, could I get away with using the same TPMS? What did some of you who had steelies do when you switched to alloys? Much appreciated!

I had some SCS wheels put on this weekend. The shop switched the sensors over from my steel wheels without saying anything. I was afraid it was going to be an issue as well, but wasn't with this shop

I had OR alloys put on. Discount Tire never mentioned the TPMS being a problem, they just switched em right over.

Aren't the angle of the sensors not transferable between the steelies and alloy wheels? I think you can flip it the other way and use the steel wheel sensors but then it becomes an issue if you get a flat or get your tires replaced and the tech doesn't know about it.

Thanks for the input! So no problem so far?

I read about this, that's why I'm a little hesitant.. but I guess I'll just pull the trigger and change them to right ones when/if they break.

I really love this setup. Anyway you can send more pics? All around. Also are the .75 spacers bolt on or not?

Yeah this is the biggest you will go with no lift. I leveled mine with 5100’s and this is the best size if you still have to use your truck as a daily driver.

Correct, but they work just fine. Your tire shop would have to flip the sensors 180 degrees so now black part of the sensor is leaning away form the alloy wheel instead of against it (like it was on the steel).

I had this done to mine and no problems. You will have to let the shop know if you have your tires changed. With a flat...maybe damage a sensor.

I'm fashionably late (as usual), working night shift has me a bit off from the rest of the worlds schedule.
Here's my 2016 SR. Has 2 inch block lift, with add-a-sprint in the rear. 2.7 paired w 5spd. Running 285/70/16's, shes a bit under powered but going from a diesel at work to this at home running my RPM's up isn't something I'm use to. Short list of mods are @CaliRaisedLed amber fogs, light bar behind grill with Caliraised brackets, adding speakers to rear doors, weather tech matts and side steps. Every one has damn good looking trucks!

I did the same exact switch and when I went to the dealer they said that they weren't able to. Not sure if that was just the line they gave ,e but if you go to a shop I'm curious if they will make it work.

I bought a set of TRDOR wheels and tires (dirt cheap) a while ago, but with no lug nuts. I finally got around to ordering some lugs and mounted everything up last weekend.

The Toyota part number for the alloy wheel lugs is 90084-94002. If these are equivalent to that part number, they should work. I went with used OEM ones.
