    I know exactly what those are, and I also know that they were available in white, but I have never seen one in person. :(

    I know about the Capri Black Magic because of this book, which my uncle got me for Christmas in 2000, and which I read so frequently that the damn thing fell apart completely within 6 years or so!

    You are correct, they did also come in white. Very rare.

    I've had the pleasure of driving one quite a bit. TRX rims with Goodyear rubber...stated in the manual "Not recommended for driving in rain". Of course they were right.

    Looking closer at that picture, that rear hatch is from a Mustang GT as the Capri had a bubble glass hatch.

    8.5 Fisher XV2, some switches, some lights.
    The NA Diesels in general from that era were all incredibly durable. The 5.9 Cummins from that vintage were almost always good for 500k before they even needed a refresh. Mercedes diesels hit 400k or more like clockwork. The only ones that really weren't stellar were the 5.7 and 6.2 diesels that GM was using.
