Yep, your truck and the way you use it was was the main reason I went with dirt designs in addition to the awesome features they have and the reasonable price.

You'd think all the ranger fags would get some good spacers made for their truck so they can be a hoonigan like the Vaughn Gittin Jr. truck.

Yes I realized I used "ranger" and "good" in the same sentence, kind of contradictory.

You should get them. Then I'll know how they work with the MCM kit. I really think I will at some point hopefully sooner or later.

Yeah my tax return and some pocket cash will go towards it. Definitely going to get them. They should work as they are stock geometry. Will be getting the Unibal/steering upgrade as well.

Sweet. I just have concerns with rubbing the lower arm or something. I am probably not right its just usually how my luck works out. I plan to do the uniball and steering also, its really why I want them. I probably have a few months until we finish stuff on my truck we started years ago and then I will pull the trigger.

Yes, only gripe was the double sheer shock mounts got in the way of the schrader valve on the bypass. But overall good install.

Probably wouldn’t go to him now, heard he hasn’t been hitting people up and left a few trucks unfinished. Tried asking what happened but no one responded.

Yeah I think he's either overwhelmed with work, getting over the fab thing, or both. Too bad - he offered to do my whole sua with a bed cage for much less than the price DMZ quoted me for just a bolt in bed cage. Looks like I'll be buying some tools lol.

Jeff was always cool with me asking for quotes and changing my mind with what I wanted to do. This was the one time I actually stuck to a plan

Yeah chill guy, I have no bad experience with him. But wouldnt go back probably if its true that trucks were left untouched and had to get picked up.

DMZ is top dollar but next level top dollar work.

Yeah the LCAs are thick as shit so could interfere with the steering. I'll find out! If so. I'll just get the Solo kit and put my MCM kit on my double cab haha

I talk to Jeff last night and he asked me when i wanted to pull the trigger on the rear end so fair as the DMZ kit goes. only thing that suck is he only cash only but wants like 1500 for everything tho so that s good. after having Andrew at trac performance be my fab guy for a long time then just dipped out on everything it been hard to find a good fab guy that i can trust(good work/not going to fuck my truck up ) and have a good $$ that not a arm and a leg to get some stuff done. who are you guy using? and i talk to D.i.r.t.k.i.n.g and they wanted to charge 56 hour to be installed on my truck cuz it a 5lug 3,500 that just install then kit 1,700 plus whatever else i need.

Thats pretty cheap labor. Our going rate for fab work and such is $90/hr. Or are you saying the labor will take 56 hours?

Yeah shop rates are up there as Desert Digger said. You get what you pay for! Much cleaner install superior welds, and overall better work.

Either way 56 hours for $3500 is $62.50 per hour. That's still pretty low

Are you having anything else done while being installed? like boxing in the frame or anything? Could be the extra time there. 56 hours doesnt sound ridiculously long to me.
