What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I got my truck 0 miles April 2016 with a 5k down, still live at home so just makes it that much easier to give the 1k every month wish I would of done it from the beginning

 

Hey guys just wondering when I get my new tires that are 265/75r16 What camber, castor & toe should I aim @ being I'm moving up from 245/75r16?

 

Stock height and stock shaft, had low speed vibration and some at 50 mph. Also had two thrust washers in one u joint cap, not sure how I messed that up when i did joints a while back.

Work was done at Drive lines NW Everett WA, they fixed my screw up and made it run perfect.

 

Got it re-aligned after doing the ECGS bearing... Come to find out my LCAs are seized... Something the specialty off road shop that put my lift on for over 700$ should have told me when they "aligned" it... good thing I like a high caster.. never going back there for sure. The new shop I went to is awesome! Told me imediatley what they found and balanced my tires for me (they were way off) So I'm ordering Moog LCAs and all serviceable joints (tie rods etc.) And they're going to install it all and align it again for ~400. Not too bad... If anyone lives up in Northwest WA I highly suggest R.P.M Performance in Burlington.

 

I love south point and green sand beach, best beach on Big Island.

 

I searched... and can't find anything other than T-rex grills?? Someone posted a link... but it's dead. Would you know of another way?

 

New Dakar HD, full pack baby! about 2 inches different in the back now though, hmm... should settle a bit, and will come way down when I drop all my stuff in the back, and the bikes on the rack... Has the Aussie Look! Rides just fine!

Put my rear diff relocate set up in today. Good thing, factory one was plugged as eff.

 

I got the parts but haven't done that yet!

Lmao...Wifie isn’t a fan of driving, especially my truck. She prefers to ride, except when i am wasted!

 

Not sure what uca’s and suspension you have but camber and toe usually target do 0 and as for caster +2.5 or more.

 

Anyone know the average price of a timing chain reseal? I'm getting conflicting quotes from multiple places, going to get more info tomorrow from one of them. on exactly what they do. Also, since resealing requires pulling a lot off, why not replace water pump, seals, etc. I know my serpentine belt is bad so that replace that as well, also little things like pulley bearings... And, if they're in there resealing, and they see timing chain is loose, tentioner warn down, why not replace that also??? Any suggestions on prices?

By the way, these HD Dakar ride great, over speed bumps is all I could do tonight, but it used to bottom out with nothing in the back, and the old Leafs are back there. I carry a lot more weight than most though even if the bed is empty. Wheelers was very careful to tell me it needs to weighted to ride well.
