Looking for a good lift

    I have a RC 2" front strut spacer and a 1" Ready Lift rear block kit. Looks great, and since I don't offroad heavy it fit the bill perfectly until my stock suspension components wear out. I don't 'wheel' my truck. The odd logging road to go mountain biking or fishing is about as far as it goes. 3" seems like way too much, do you really need to be that high? Seems like asking for trouble weather it be a spacer lift or not!

    No. But you can't fit a 33" tire with a 3" lift without doing a CMC and trimming...Hell, even a 285 tire will rub without a CMC. Just run 265 or 275s and be happy to not chop up your new truck!

    I live on hawaii and my favorite camping beach is down a fairly crappy rocky big and little I have smacked my undercarriage once or twice just want some clearance and more rubber don’t want a big lift I would like some 33in bfg all terrains I drive hundreads of mikes on roads then 10 off road. I like the factory ride just want some more room

    I miss my lancruiser:( love my Tacoma though 33s fit right under my 97 no lift

    To fit a 285 tire(less than a true 33") you would need to cut/trim the truck cab mount. Alot of companies offer plates to fill the mount after you hack it back..You can still run a 285, but it will rub on that cab mount. Do a little research on this forum before you go out and buy stuff. Alot of knowledge here! CMC = Cab Mount Chop

    With your set up does it still look stock stance just a bit higher? Or is the rear not up high enough since only 1in spacer not like the 2 In up front. And what size tires you running?

    Still has some factory rake. It looks good and makes a stock truck look TINY beside it. Pretty funny actually. I upped a size right from the dealership, running 265/70/17(just under a 32" tire) K02's E load. (they even still rub full stuff on the front mud flaps)

    Seems a lot cheaper. I’m with you. Upgrade to the 1500$ lift when the brand new stuff poops out.get the blocks and tires for now

    Maybe not the 'coolest' option. But seems logical to me! Ill try to take a picture of my rig tomorrow for ya.

    AAL will make the rear end stiffer. A plus if you have a canopy or rack or roof top tent!

    Correct. If you go more than 1" you will have to start messing with shock length, brake lines, ect.
