Happy Taco Tuesday and birthday/anniversary to Hard Shell Taco!

I've made big changes in a year. Slow for some and quick for others.

Spent the last 4 days off tearing the headlights apart, installing a 300 industries grill and a couple other small things!

Ah yes. Been there and done that. Lots for fun getting it dirty, not so much cleaning it.

    Looks awesome.
I love this grill and want that style on my Cement but I have an 18 and NO manufacturer can tell me if it will interfere with TSS. Toyota says the metal will interfere. DAMN IT.

That sucks! I'd love to have the TSS option but after hearing people say things about it and not knowing if lifting and other things will mess it up in glad I don't have it!

The only aftermarket grill I’ve seen built to work with TSS is the DB Customz (https://dbcustomz.com/collections/t...oma-x2-series-drop-in-grille-insert-16tacx217).

    22EF5A07-4255-4B6F-963C-E87ECAE1645E.jpg

There isn’t much info on their product page other than it’s $30 more for 2018 cut out. Styles a bit different than what you quoted there but I’m sure there will be more options as companies have more time to mess around w TSS

He's a lean, mean. studying machine, lol. Freshmen year and knocking out grades that I can't take credit for. Must get his smarts from his mom. :beavisd:

The darker badging is gonna look great on the truck.

Good job on wrapping that rascal.

Gotta roll with what you had on hand. Improvise, adapt and overcome. Clint Eastwood approved.

I'm down with Brown. I love it when they show up with new truck toys. :santa:

 Does have a sinister appeal.

In a year or two when I have my Tacoma set up the way I want....I will never go back and count the mods/enhancements. Scared of what the $$$ talley will be.

They look great....so do the clamps. That Warn bumper hoop is really nice.

Your truck looks great. I dig that grill, too.

    Sweet. How's the sound ?

    Vastly different than stock ?

Tacomas......the truck that The Most Interesting Man in The World would drive....if he didn't ride horseback everywhere.

Seriously.....the access cab 2.7 4x4 got a strong consideration here, too, when I was truck shopping.

Nice looking tonneau cover you installed....and I've always like those type of seat covers.

    My '17 doesn't have it.

    Wife's '18 Rav4 does.

It's a mixed bag, in my opinion. I like her adaptive cruise control for certain....very cool how it maintains distance from cars ahead. The lane warnings and such drive me nuts, though.

Glad to know it's not going to be a factor if/when I lift or level.

There are several different grille styles on their website that show a 2018 option. I think any that show 2016-2017 in the description also have 2018 in the ordering drop down.

    Nothing worthy

Matte black vinyl on the rockers? Im waiting for warm weather and gonna do that before my wide wheels chip em up too much.
Looks good! Haven't seen a visual yet.

How did the installation of the rocker panels go? Been looking at them for the quicksand color.
