Snowblowed the driveway and just finished the neighbor's sidewalk (they're on a trip right now and asked me to help) when the auger stopped working.. The belt shredded itself so I had to drive around looking for a belt that would fit. Found one that barely fit and pretty much applied tension to the auger pulley so it's rotating all the time and actually slows the motor down when I press the lever... It did fine for the rest of the day but I have the proper belts on order now. I'm beating myself up because I told myself to order spare belts last month....

Second photo is the evo buried...

    What's a MSC and what'd ya get!

Morning all, we are only supposed to get another inch today, but windy with gusts 40+mph. Gonna try to hit the ski trails though if it isn't too cold and enjoy the day. Looks like you Boston folks got hit hard last night. Serious questions for the city guys-

1- Looks like a lot of 2wd cars, how do they get out move around??
2- How the fuck does a plow guy plow all these little lots with cars all over them, I'd hit them all and there would still be snow everywhere if I was the plow guy.

@micwillia be safe! Those morning pull out difficulties might lead you to the TW baby club

Morning all. I am exhausted this morning, power went out again about 11. I was up with the gen trying to free up the frozen throttle linkage so she would stay running. #fuckmarch

    Howdy humans!
We had probably 8-10 inches of fairly light & fluffy snow on the ground when I got home and plowed last night, and I'd guess another 8 or so of heavier, wetter stuff on the ground this morning that I plowed before I left for work. It's still snowing, too, and we've already picked up probably another inch or so since I plowed this AM. Not supposed to finish up until around 4, they said on the news this morning. So I'm sure I'll have to plow again after work today, too.

    1. A)They either don't use the car in bad weather and stick to public transportation. B)Their New Englanders and know how to drive (I've gotten a camry through conditions/roads that it never should have) C)They end up in a ditch cause they don't have a clue of what they are doing.
    2. I have no answer since I have no idea what it takes to plow normally.

:rofl:Fuck that shit, I've already put a scratch on her from dropping a bike in the bed :burnrubber::burnrubber::mudding:Last storm actually required 4lo, this one was 90% powder in central MA

    'Morning!
weather map said we had 9" of snow fall yesterday. Was light & fluffy stuff & by the time I got home last night the sun had cleared about 1/3 of the driveway. Was a very pleasant surprise. They are saying that Boston was gifted 14" of free snow. At least you guys get something for those high city taxes you pay - free snow!

My VP just said that to me. Whatever site he was looking at has an early estimate of 6-9 inches in this area.
