I hope i can still use the stock exhaust gaskets. I poked a hole in them when removing. Guess Im going to order the V&H Big Radius for $700. In the meantime back to stock. But not putting all the brackets back on.

yea that sucks, I'd prod try, just knowing that it might leak. if they are a pain in the a$$ to replace, i would probably get new

I put my short shots on my sporty with 300 miles on it and tried to reuse the stock gaskets, and it leaked everywhere and I made sure to be careful tightening down evenly. The gaskets are ten bucks or less just buy a set.

Yea I know. I have the V&H flat gaskets. Just need them to last a few weeks until I get the correct exhaust. Its still shitty weather so I know I won't be riding that much

I put rhe stock exhaust back on, and now something is rubbing. Suspect the belt on the cover.

Ordered up V&H VO2 intake and big radius exhaust. The tuner can wait a little bit. Hoping it can get here by the weekend, because id like to ride on Sunday

Ill replace it with the new exhaust. For now, they are fine. Wont be riding anyways. Too cold.

After putting the stock exhaust back on, noticed a rubbing noise. Figuring its the front sprocket cover. I removed a bracket, but didn't put it back on, since new exhaust is on the way. Guess im still not riding for a few more days.

you were the one that told me to get the $80 one in the first place!:mad::mad:

Also wait times on the Kinetic. Like truck parts. But its ok. Later maybe.

Remember I had the big radius on my nightster and they were not bad. This time around im going to see if I can remove the baffles.

They ship today, but wont get here until Tuesday. Good thing I took Tuesday off prior, so ill be waiting for UPS with the bike disassembled and ready to go

I want to ride. Now I have to figure out this rubbing noise. Im guessing its the cover on the belt. And I should just need a washer to space it out. Then this weekend wont be a total loss.

Also ordering SCS wheels tonight :anonymous: but no bronze. Going to have to order gunmetal

you can ride with the stock exhaust while waiting for the kinetic, lol.

im in save money mode now. car is to the point where it doesnt "need" anything, truck will get 37s whenever the 35s are toast so another year or two, race bike is staying stock, grom no one cares, 690 is fine how it is too.

I guess I am in the opposite mode as you. Still need to stop and make the first payment on the Harley

Plan on waiting until April to order the V&H FP3 autotuner, and then ride like that for a while. Handlebars can wait. I have been slowly selling my gear. Just would like to sell my Alpinestars jacket. I am planning on picking up a new jacket on Friday. Necessities.

    List for later:
    Bell Custom 500 helmet
    Speed&Strength gloves
    FP3

    Maybe in May:
    Biltwell Frisco bars
    ABS wire kit

My .02, i have a Bell 500 and love it. Never ridden w/ an open face, little weird at first though. I was debating the MOTO 3 that came out, but got a smokin deal on the 500. super comfy:thumbsup:

I had one with the nightster. Flat black with mirrored bubble shield. I bought some used Oakleys that have purple/blue lenses to go with my paint.. will see how the actual riding is. Filling out a profile with this stuff haha..
