Definitely go Hub-centric. You can get lug-centric wheels but you'll have to use centering rings which shops have a tendency to lose/forget and then you have a mystery vibration that drives you nuts.

If you get a PM going definitely add me; Tuckerman's is a bucket list thing for me and most of my ski friends don't believe/like the idea of earning your turns.

Yup the wheels coming are 108. I figure plastic was better due to corrosion?

Just ordered a set of 108 bore wheels (Method NV) as well so I am also looking. I have the Gorilla ET centering lugs (link below) and will probably order the plastic Gorilla rings you just posted. I have read the right lug nuts will do most of the work so I think the plastic rings will be fine

Anybody need something cheap from Discount tire? Trying to order my tires but to use the coupon twice I need to spend 400 on each transaction. I need 54 more bucks for one of them so I was going to order a random 54 dollar tire and then try to sell it on CL after.

I ordered pro comp wheels and got the pro comp lugs so hopefully those will be alright.

I think you'll be fine. The reviews on those Gorilla rings aren't too convincing. I might run without rings for a week and see how they feel, everyone says the right lugs are all that's needed but I would like the piece of mind

I agree 100% with you one this but I have to add 1 thing. I can't stand it if people act/think it's wrong because you decided to have kids when they didn't

    1. If they don't have good tires, they don't get out. If they do have decent tires, they just shovel their ass off and ping that little engine off the red line until it bites and drives out.
    2. Lots of the small lots use skid steers with pusher boxes and load the snow out in a dump truck. The really small lots, the plow truck sill just plow straight in, leave a large pile in the back of the lot and they'll end up losing a space or 2. Usually, they have to truck the snow out though.

Maine to Watertown will be a fun drive if this weather keeps up. Watertown is like a damn tundra. I do miss that part of NY. I went to college in that area, very isolated.

Exactly how I feel. Cover all my tracks etc etc. But I think I'll do the same as you and try them without the rings. I have a short commute anyhow for work so I could drive it with a little vibe without much issue.

Hoping to get tires mounted tomorrow so I will have an answer for you shortly. Although I have a slight vibe from old steering rack bushings so I don't know how much I will notice :notsure:

If I ever lose a finger at work I will have the doc do whatever to give me the shocker 24/7. "I don't care which finger it is doc, move them around"

Ordinarily I'd be excited, but I want the snow to stop. I was hoping it'd be gone by the time my new truck shows up, but now I'm just hoping it's started to go away by then.

I get the opposite a lot and it's infuriating. People telling me it's selfish, or that I'll change my mind. I won't, and trying to get someone who doesn't want kids to decide to have one is probably the worst idea anyone could come up with.
