I just got done swapping the stock halogen's in the projector to some blue/white LED's.

I quickly discovered that there is not enough space behind the low beam/projector housing to sneak an LED bulb with heat-sink in! I had to remove the headlight in order to swap the bulb. Which means you have to remove the whole damn bumper! (Not cool Toyota)

Anyway, once I removed the bumper the install was pretty easy, but I was a little frustrated that I had to remove some 20 plus assorted screws and pins in order to swap a bulb, but man is it worth it! New bulbs make night driving look so much better.

Now that I see how great these look, I'm getting higher lumen hi beams and fogs for the trail!

Well, I'll be honest, I've noticed a improvement on my end. The bulbs I selected aren't some Chinese 1,000,000 lumen garbage. They're a modest 3000 lumen rating that really improved my driving visibility. I hope I'm not blinding fellow drivers, but based on what I saw in my tests/walkarounds, it was not blindingly bright.

That is a really informative write up.

Did you paint your grill surround after the grill install?

Some guys did. I opted to use the stock surround. Its a little bit better quality than the EAG in my opinion.

Some guy just shoved the red wire into the 10 amp fuse towards the center of the engine bay.

Then he put a ground on the fuse box bolt. I used a fuse splitter. Bother options work just fine. Mines a little less sketchy.
