they need my truck to haul lumber, that doesn't make me happy

    Coffee and then work

I called it. I texted the boss and told him to call me if they need me. I may have to go in this afternnon and load my truck for tomorrow. Tomorrow is the seasonal volunteer closeout meeting. They all come to this area for briefings and comment and a big bbq. One of us grills pollo asada (usually me) and tortillas and the volunteers bring a dish. So I'll probably go in and put the grill and cooler of meat on my truck.

They've been doing it long enough they all have it down so it pretty much goes off without any glitches...and them ol' gals make up some pretty damn good grub.

Couple Winters ago, I shoveled off the deck and I shoveled off one of those square, wire and bristle boot scraper thingys.

Well,, I then proceded to run the machine on the walkway below the deck and the snowblower inhaled the boot scraper thingy.
Didn't break any shear pins, but it wedged itself pretty good behind the auger.
Had to disassemble the auger to get that thing un-wedged.
