    :ohsnap:

haven't caught up on the thread but doing the Drinkwater/Rowher Flats/Lookout Hill loop is a good day-long, first 4x4 trail to do and get used to the ropes on. Has a little bit of everything to some degree, and bypasses if need be.

edit: maybe skip on doing Lookout for a first time 4x4 run, at least going up it

true...well you could make a weekend out of it, do those trails on Saturday then head up the grapevine on Sunday and do Miller Jeep Trail if you're feeling confident haha

It's bittersweetly remembered as the climb that broke Greg's Jeep's front axle on this thread's first Rowher run.

MJT isn't all that bad if you have other trucks with you that can help pull you over one or two things if need be. @Sandtaco convinced me to do MJT when my 04 was still bone stock and I survived minus ruining my underwear, though I wouldn't recommend that to anyone.

Where's the sport in that, albeit effective, at least give him a chance to not dent the truck with choosing the right line lol

Lol! I'm hoping wheels and tires come quickly for it. Need that ground clearance!

^ what he said! At least give me a fighting chance to do my own damage!

We don’t even need one. Plenty of opportunities for him to do his own damage. We just have to :boink:

If you have 33s and sliders Gold Canyon was doable and fun as shit. I personally didn’t think there was a section where body damage was a huge concern either.

Corral Canyons cool, but it gets overgrown with brush and kills your paint. Might be something after you’ve already had some pinstripes.

@Mike likes Tacos I’m not sure if I’ve done sidewinder yet. I’ve been to Carrol Canyon a few times but couldn’t tell you all of the trail names. We’ve done Bronco Peak and Bronco Flats. Both of witch are not beginner trails and you must be willing to get body damage. @YumaTRD knows the trails better.

You’ll like the place then. Its a great place. It has trails from moderate to incredibly difficult. Bronco Peak connector is the most difficult there. I would suggest walking it before you decide on that one. It is an offshoot of Bronco Peak which is the second most difficult trail there. Not far from there is pinyon canyon and the squeeze and pinyon drop off aka heart attack hill. Its a good area.

Pinyon is fun but again, tight for a 2nd gen. Pine Valley was cool in the rain. Too easy in 4x4 dry though. If it rains then we’ll definitely have to hit that.

JT has some good stuff too like the trail to the mine. Might be a good place to scope out.

I’m definitely down for exploring Bear more though. I dig that area and haven’t done too many trails yet.

Sidewinder is 2WD friendly. Its where you got Highcenterd the firsts time.
We went out through sidewinder after we did bronco peak. Getting to sidewinder is sometimes more challenging than the trail itself . You need sliders if you want to continue through bronco flats.
