    We have places around here that we can ice fish well into April and sometimes May.

    In all honesty, we can decide basically up to the day before. Rausch and AOAA are pretty close to each other.

    In other news, I'm picking these up on Sunday.

    @Kemosabe @ovrlndkull

    Here are a list of options. some are more expensive then others. They all have great reviews but the Sound Ordnance one has a longer manufacturer warranty. They will fit under the passenger seat but most people have been putting them in the driver side cubby behind the seat. all depends on ur price range and what u feel comfortable buying. Personally I would stick with a known company who is known for quality sound. some people have had issues with their SO prematurely but warranty was easy to claim since SO is crutchfields house brand. I didn't do extensive research but I got the infinity one cuz I believe u get what u pay for, I also bought the extended warranty. Canadian prices suck btw @Kemosabe. There are threads on here about some of these. nothing super educational, pretty much people just saying what I have said above.

    - Kicker 11HS8
    - Infinity BassLink SM
    - Sound Ordnance B-8PTD
    - Kenwood KSC-SW11
    - Rockford Fosgate PS-8
    - Rockville RW8CA

    Thanks I like the option of having some bass but didn't want to loose storage behind the rear seats or under them nice that these things fit under the Pass seat!

    Next question is how do you hook them up to the factory radio. I haven't put a system in one of my vehicles since 1999 and that was all amped and off an aftermarket stereo, eq, etc. I have been looking at upgrading my stuff and damn how everything is so different. I'm relearning everything all over again.

    Aoaa requires advanced registration for camping. I’m fine either way, but because of the camping situation and everyone doesn’t seem to really care, let’s just call it aoaa as final decision.

    yeah man I used to have a wicked sound system in all my previous vehicles and miss the bass. like you, I didn't want to loose any storage space. I also don't need two 12 anymore, just wanted a little but more lower end bass to fill in the music haha so this should be perfect. I sent a SC of the wiring drigram. nothing fancy. Fused power to amp from batter. Chasis Ground. Remote wire from head unit to turn on amp. RCA from head unit to amp. if u don't have aftermarket HU then u might want the optional bass remote so u can tune the bass without reaching under the seat.

    Oh yeah, forgot these other pics from yesterday. This big fucking tree was in our way, so we cut up what we could with my chainsaw and winched the rest out of our way. Everything worked really well.

    We also made a fucking huge morning fire to get rid of the remaining big chunks of wood we had.

    If the factory head unit doesn't have RCAs how do you hook it up to the factory head unit. I know back in the day there was some box that you hooked up to the factory speaker wires which turned that signal into an RCA jack interface.

    Looks like a cool place adding it to the list of ever growing places to explore. Good trail riding out there?
