Ya, I'll probably put that tire on and lower it before I jack up the rear. There is 2 stands and a jack in the middle. Tires aren't a bad idea. I also have to put in some Daystar cradles, build up the bag brackets, and weld the cam tabs. Got a way to go, but leafs are built. Beer helps, lol. :thumbsup:20180314_173532.jpg

Anyone have any recommendations on skinny all terrain tires for those who only have this kit installed? I've gotten mixed research results on 255/85/16. I will be running 16 SCS Ray 10s.

TRD Baja Kit with JBA UCA's 1/2 inch spacer on top, Medium Dakars with BAMF hangars and super bumps all around. 285/75/16 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT's on graphite TRD faux beadlock wheels. Pro skid powder coated black with Pelfreybilt aluminum mid skid and aluminum gas tank skid.
It's not the Pro kit but the Baja kit. If it wasn't for this thread I wouldn't have found it so I thought I would share. Baja kit (adding 1/4 inch spacer on both sides), Toytec/Deaver 3 leaf AAL and JBA standard high castor UCA's just waiting to be put on.

I've looked for these online and every site says they are discontinued. Does this mean they aren't in production any longer or just out of stock?
Amazon says you can buy now and will ship when back in stock but I don't want to purchase these if they are no longer in production

The kits are no longer made, you may be able too piece together a kit,but it will be full price ($1800.00) doing it that way don't know what stunt Amazon is pulling.I would just buy the REAL 6112 coilover's that are fully adjustable and the rear 5160 shocks.

Yup whatever's out in the market, if any, is all that's left since Toyota stopped cranking these out. Best bet if you really want these are through private seller or like mentioned, going with the 6112/5160 combo.

If it makes you happy go for it. The kit will come with frame mounts already so this isn’t “needed” but if you like it more, rock on!

The only con I can think of is that you can’t follow install instruction perfectly. The install instructions talk about how the line from the reservoir needs to be perpendicular from it. I’m not sure if it makes any difference what so ever but I personally would prefer to just install as instructed.

Yeah it looks good mounted to the frame, probably stick with that for now

How much better is the ride on these compared to trd off road stock? Is it simply plug and play?

3rd gen guy here. I love it. I used to bounce two or three times when I pulled out of my driveway on my stock OR suspension. Now when I pull out it’s a solid thump and I stick to the road.
