with the 3 ton you'll still need a piece of wood even if you don't get the low profile jack.

    I had to double check.

I went with 4 ton steel Harbor Frieght. It had the best Max height of 20 1/2 inches. Use it with their 6 ton stands. Those 3 tons are garbage

I should add I'm not LT.
I've been able to lift both front and rear without wood. I have the old Dakars with 26.xx" Icons.

The Harbor Frieght 4 ton jack on my front skid plate is just barely tall enough to raise both front wheels off of the ground without the use of wood blocks.

    Nice..

Recently I was fortunate enough to score a Pro-Eagle jack with the 8" pene extension. The extension works great

    Damn, another hand me down?

Are those things worth the ridiculous price and shame that comes with it due to all the instalanders carrying one in their beds that they'll never use?

The extension is pretty cool because it stores on the jack with a clamp to hold it inplace when storing/transporting. I also have a lockable mounting bracket for the jack that will be mounted in the bed somewhere. Becouse fuck using scary as hi-lifts for trail repairs. They should be used for recoveries only..

Just go ahead and ignore that OB patch..It's for a friend ahem
    20180222_180105.jpg

Of course I had to get super legit with a Solo Motorsports jack handle mount..

Who cares whay they think. Using hi-lifts for trail repairs is asking for trouble. Especialy since youre like me that goes often solo for the weekend.

I'll keep an eye out for a sale and see how cheap I can score one, I might wait until I impact my stock jack's gears to death first though.

    I kid, I kid
But yeah I've seen several instalander that got those for the gram, I figured they were in the same class of ridiculous as skottels and awnings so big they could sail away with your truck if a gale hit them.
